Welcome to WhimsyCon:
Denver’s Steampunk and
Costuming Convention!

March 2 – 4, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center!

We had been looking at doing a Steampunk event for a few years, and when we heard that 2017 was going to be AnomalyCon’s final year, we started planning what we hope will be a worthy successor.

Part-celebration of Steampunk, part-celebration of costuming, we hope to provide something for everyone!

Costuming Guest of Honor:
Kitty Krell

Kitty Krell is a cosplayer from Denver, Colorado. Upon entering her first convention in 2000, the heavens opened up and a choir of angels rejoiced, for she had found a place she actually fit in.

Since then, she’s concentrated her energy on improving her craft, focusing on high-end construction, extravagant details, and corsetry. She owns a masquerade boutique in Denver.

Artist Guest of Honor: Tawny Fritz

Tawny is a freelance illustrator based in Colorado. She has worked professionally in the tabletop and role-playing gaming industry for a few years and is an official Paizo Pathfinder and Starfinder artist. She has also worked on titles such as Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and Star Wars.

Her pursuit to educate and motivate has led to her being hired as Event Coordinator for The Fantastic Workshop in Nashville and as Moderator for the Facebook group One Fantastic Week. She works directly with Samuel Flegal and Peter Mohrbacher to ensure artists everywhere have access to information that will help them achieve their dreams. Her current passion projects are The Divine Coven tarot deck, designing t-shirts for her online shirt runs, and creating mock up beer labels in ink.
